Willbar Construction is a Main Contractor working across London and the South East with an unrivalled desire to provide a better service for our clients.
Having over 50 years of combined experience across all construction sectors, along with the ethos of working as a close-knit team is helping us to achieve our goals and continues to progress the company towards its main objective of being the “contractor of choice”. Working on projects ranging from £25,000 - £2 million, it is our responsibility to provide a product and an experience that makes each of our clients rethink the stereotype commonly associated within construction. Willbar Construction want to be seen as the solution not the problem, being proactive rather than reactive.

S U P P L Y C H A I N
As a signatory of the Prompt Payment Code; we understand that its ethically responsible to pay our delivery partners in a reasonable time frame and on time. By building strong relationships with our partners, we provide better a quality product in a timelier manner.
To qualify for our approved list, we ensure that competency tests are met prior to engaging any new third party. Our pre-qualification questionnaire highlights all the information we feel is required to meet our standards and these are reviewed annually to ensure compliance is consistent. Furthermore, end of project reviews are undertaken with a scoring system for key aspects of the delivery of a package, such as quality, programme and health & safety. A benchmark score is set, which if any contractor falls below, triggers a one-to-one meeting to discuss why the downtrend has occurred and how we can improve this together.
This approach is critical in our appointment of specialist providers, placement of subcontractors and procurement of materials. This is another key to our success to date.

Treating our supply chain fairly and with respect is a core principle here, therefore, signing up to the government backed prompt payment code was an easy decision. Causing unnecessary stress by delaying payments will only prove to be detrimental to our projects and hopefully by honouring this agreement we make a small step to improving payment culture within the construction industry.

Our specialist Health and Safety advisor acts on our behalf as the appointed Health and Safety person, along with SHED advisors. You will find a member of Willows Safety Services regularly on our projects ensuring we maintain a premium level of safety as at all times.
